Chinese food takes over Pakistani menus

.
I heard Chinese food is delicious. As long as Chinese serve Halal food, then there is no problem.

This means no pork and other haraam ingredients.

Pakistani people will throw the plates if you server them actual Chinese food, Chinese food is Pakistani food basically with same ingredient as Chinese use (to some extent). Chinese food is different even in Canada than in US.

.
I will make a Sino-Pakistani recipe call "All weather friendship" :D
Already been done, you need to find another recipe!

Hopefully Pakistani food is also shared and expanded in the Chinese market. But this is great news, Chinese food is delicious. Speaking from experience.
Once they taste our biryanis , aloo ghosh , keema paratha, chicken curry etc they will forget all their chow mein , sushi etc. Our food is number one in the UK having knocked off the English Fish and chips from its top spot.

That's good but there's a large Pakistani diaspora in England too. So that skews the statistics as well in regards to Eng. But yes I agree Pak food for the most part is delicious.

I have had English friends eat our curries and I have noticed a few similarities: their faces turn as red as tomatoes , there head becomes fountain of sweat and they slurp and gulp and mumble that is the most delicious food they have ever tasted in their lives. Don't ask me what they say the morning after, as they would have beaten Usain Bolt in the dash to the toilet.

Chinese namak.

or Monosodium Glutamate. It's a flavor enhancer but imo dangerous.

MSG contains high proportion of Sodium, the main ingredient of edible salt. Too much sodium (aka salt) intake in your food increases your blood pressure (safe intake of salt per day is equal to one tea spoon), and make you thirsty. This is because your body need lots of water to expel the organic sodium in your blood.

MSG is harmless unless you take in large quantity (thus large amount of sodium) and do not drink enough water.

Monosodium glutamate (MSG, also known as sodium glutamate) is the sodium salt of glutamic acid, one of the most abundant naturally occurring non-essential amino acids. Monosodium glutamate is found naturally in tomatoes, cheese and other foods.

MSG is used in the food industry as a flavor enhancer with an umami taste that intensifies the meaty, savory flavor of food, as naturally occurring glutamate does in foods such as stews and meat soups. It was first prepared in 1908 by Japanese biochemist Kikunae Ikeda, who was trying to isolate and duplicate the savory taste of kombu, an edible seaweed used as a base for many Japanese soups. MSG as a flavor enhancer balances, blends, and rounds the perception of other tastes.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has given MSG its generally recognized as safe (GRAS) designation. A popular belief is that large doses of MSG can cause headaches and other feelings of discomfort, known as "Chinese restaurant syndrome," but double-blind tests fail to find evidence of such a reaction. The European Union classifies it as a food additive permitted in certain foods and subject to quantitative limits. MSG has the HS code 29224220 and the E number E621.

Everywhere in the world the eat Chinese food...
In Pakistan we have Chinese restaurants since my parents time. Also Chinese and Thai food is always in big hotels ....
You people disgust me. Trying to find problem with every single thing.

What about burgers.... There is Tom dick and Harry who has opened a franchise of ordinary taxas beef burgers nowadays. You would find every single burger brand and name... What Is on their menu ? Biryani or nahari. Are you not worried about culture invasion from USA???
In 60 or 70 several Chinese Christians migrated to Pakistan for food business. They have small communities, their wives are related to beauty Parlours. They speak Urdu as their first language and English as second as they are 3rd generation Pakistanis now. They live here and have no relatives in China. They would be lost in China as they don't even know Chinese. I. Know 3 or 4 families which are friends to my father.
Stop this invasion thing.

I'm curious about Pakistani food.

Pakistani food and north Indian food are very much similar, however there are very much subtle differences in spices and tastes. For example Punjabi curries are different to Sindhi and Kashmiri curries which our different to Delhi Curries which are different to Rajasthani curries, which are different to Jaipuri etc

If you see tlc or other English channels, half the time they are cooking curry.
Or trying our dishes with their style....so was that invasion....
Chinese food is eaten throughout the world.
In Pakistan you get every countryvs food. What about pizza and burgers.
But we are against Chinese as it is Chinese invasion.
Chinese are not telling us to eat Chinese food.

I love the English Fish and Chips because I get fed up of eating Roti and Salon, Rice/Byriani, Keema Paratha, Bangon Ghosh, Palak Ghosh, Machli, Aloo Paratha, Bhindi, Saag etc etc every day. I love eating different food from around the world as the spice of life is change (no I am not going to change my wife!).

It is our duty to promote our food to the world.
Our bar b que is totally different from Indian bar b que and is 100 times better. Our thick curries and karahi's are class apart. We work rice into anything mouth watering. Different verities of Nans.... Our balochi food, our kpk food and our Kashmiri food...no comparison.
But it is our duty to promote it. Our channels to promote it. Our government to promote it.
It can take over anything.
But we never promote. We never showcase our food.
Only sit down and just imagine, how good we are, while doing nothing.

In England the local supermarkets Tesco , Asda and Sainsbury stock up with frozen Halal Kebabs , Somosas and Fried Chicken. The local goras snap them up and empty the shelves and freezers before I can get to them.

Chinese flying kick Mumbai style [aka the world famous Doklam flying side kick], India's most hated dish.
