US never had any ill will against China.

US trade with the Japanese was pure transactional.

US never approved Japanese war on China.

US was only worried about the economic impact as it was going through the Great depression.

Yet US took the hard pill to support China by imposing strict sanctions on Japan and paid the price of getting hit by the Japanese in pearl Harbor.

Same was the case in the Atlantic.

US did not join the war against Germany until UK & France have collopased.
The U.S. (and British) plan for WWII was to have the U.S. puppet governments in Germany and Japan wipe out the socialists in Europe (especially France and Germany, which is why the British backed the German invasion of France which required the British help of the Germans at Dunkirk, where Germans explicitly went through the part of the French border which the British were supposed to defend, which led to them being able to flank the majority of French defenses) and Asia.

The U.S. only changed sides in Europe when the U.S. allies lost in Stalingrad.

The U.S. was mad when the Japanese refused to invade the Soviet Union in coordination with Operation Barbarossa, which is why the U.S. embargoed exports to Japan.

Teddy Roosevelt's plan for asia was to give the Japanese southern Korea during the negotiations in the Russo-Japanese war to give them a beachhead to invade China.

He wanted the Japanese to kill all the Chinese and replace them with Japanese in China.

He details his plan fully in his letters that are archived at the state department.

The side the U.S. backed from the start of the war was Germany and Japan.

The U.S. simply switched to the winning side when the U.S. backed puppets in Germany and Japan outlived their usefulness.

Why does he appear confused or even unwilling to go, though? It looks like he was involuntarily escorted out.
Becos he is sicked. He looks senile. I don't think he even know what he is doing and talking.

China help US win the war against Japan by pinning down half of Japanese troops and resources in China. in the beginning of Sino Japanese war US was actually Japan's accomplice, without US oil supply, Japan can't sustain the war in China for a couple of months.

China or no China - it makes no difference. Japan cannot invade continental USA.
You could join the Japanese. the nukes would have finished Japan and for that matter the USSR

The process may be different, the result is the same, and they were not the only examples of long serving government leaders either.
if voters of SIngapore did not like Lee Kuan Yew they could remove him
do not try something foolish with XI

Very sad moment

I can read lips.

Hu: comrade Xi, you can’t treat me like that. You can’t throw me out of the door like a dog.

Xi: comrade Hu, your time has gone, you are an old man. Now I am here the king.

I can read lips.

Hu: comrade Xi, you can’t treat me like that. You can’t throw me out of the door like a dog.

His left Comrade: Beware the chair.

Xi: You poo.

Some say it's this guy, has been with Hu for a decade, personal assitant, always by Hu's side, if true, that could mean that Hu has had health problems for quite a long time.

Irrelevant. Xi wanted to make a point but not only that, he wanted to make that point irrevocably -- that I am in charge.

Can Hu Jintao be instructed not to show at the congress? Yes, I could have so instructed or even prevented by force, but I want everyone in China and in the world to know that I am in charge. I want his removal from China's political life to be as public as possible and to be politely but firmly done to show all Chinese, party member or not, that my will cannot be challenged no matter how restrained I may seem.

More assumptions and projections. It is very much relevant that Hu was assisted by his personal aid, people close to him rather than to be “ thrown out by Xi’s man” as described by some media.

And most likely the best. Do you really buy that 'ill health' nonsense? Hu clearly resisted. Maybe Xi found out Hu was COVID positive and wanted him out? You believe that? No, Xi made it clear to all Chinese: That I do not need to 'disappear' Hu in private so I will 'disappear' him in public.

The fact is you don’t know what’s going on, yet create a whole narrative around it, is rather indicative of someone who is accustomed to news media as entertainment.
