TikTok & Douyin remains No. 1 in global mobile app revenue in July

TikTok and its Chinese version, Douyin, generated more than $102 million in global App Store and Google Play revenue in July, 8.6 times that of the same period of last year, according to a report released today by mobile app analytics platform Sensor Tower.

This makes TikTok and Douyin keep staying at the top of the global mobile app (non-game) revenue charts.


About 89% of the revenue comes from Douyin. The U.S. market ranked second in terms of revenue, contributing 6% of the total.

YouTube ranked second on the list with over $76.8 million in revenue, up 43.8% from the same period last year.

The top five on the list are Douyin and TikTok, YouTube, Tinder, Tencent Video and iQiyi.

PUBG Mobile continued to be the top-grossing app from a Chinese manufacturer overseas in July, according to market research firm App Annie.

FunPlus' "State of Survival" moved into third place, largely due to a 38 percent increase in US revenue from the previous month.


TikTok, a short-form video app that bounces around bytes, also made the list, coming in at No. 25.

Data released earlier this week by mobile app analytics platform Sensor Tower showed that TikTok and its Chinese version, Douyin, keep staying at the top of the global non-game mobile app revenue charts.

pubg I can think like they get some subscription money from million of users or sm occasional purchase,,,.

but how Tiktok and Fb does only ad revenue is that high,..

Tencent announced on August 6 the launch of its 2021 fall recruitment, covering positions in a variety of fields, including internet, finance, investment, and new infrastructure.


Tencent opened 5,000 jobs for 2021 graduates, up 42% from last year, making it the largest recruitment campaign in Tencent's history.


Tencent's active deployment of 5G, cloud computing, and other key financial, investment, new infrastructure, and grassroots livelihood projects will also generate a large demand for talent.



Currently, Tencent's cloud computing servers total more than one million, with more than 6,500 global patents in the field of AI.

India got their behind handed to them on Jun 15 this year. Their strategic response was to ban tic tok.

This is sad as India was not given the credit for their spiritual victories. China and Pakistan need to find ways to give Indians spiritual victories so India can feel better about themselves and won’t need to brag about banning Tik tok. I feel pity for the Indians that they even need to boast about banning tik tok.
