Economically, militarily, brand, alliances and I can go on and on. For Pete's sake, you are still suspectable to getting U.S. sanctions and it hurting your economy. On the other hand, the majority of the countries won't pay any heed to you should you ask them to adhere to any sanctions you may impose on us. Right now your per capita GDP is less than 50% below the world's average.

The big things are trade, manufacturing, infrastucture, once you have them, all other things will just naturally come with them, as for your trade war, China's export surged after it imposed and registered record high trade surplus againt US, we should really thank Trump.

As for per capita, US is not the highest, that goes to Chinese Macau.
