Question for Lankan friends: what is the ultimate potential for China-Lanka ties??
Question for Chinese friends: How far are you ready to go in case of India-Lanka issues??

This is my views about China-Lanka ties.
Chinese help towards to Sri Lanka is actually their agenda to spread there power to "Indian" ocean. Everyone is trying to take advantage from the situations, so China is doing the same.

Sri Lankan leaders are cunning too, they see India vs China situation and trying to get advantage from it to develop SL. So Sri Lanka is doing the right thing too.

May be India want to help Sri Lanka but they have limitation with local politics etc, so their help or what ever thing isn't actually reaching to Sri Lanka. India is only ASIAN country who voted against Sri Lanka. I got laughed when I see that country name with who voted against us list. Now India struggling to find a place to give train to SL military personnels. When a state politics overrides national interests of India how India make good relationship with Sri Lanka? This is what India is facing today.

Chinese help will grow more with in next years, at some point Sri Lanka will loose the control/or balance which they have now with China. At that point China will demand things, unfortunately SL will have to agree most of Chinese requests at that time. This is the reality!

As long has struggle between China vs India, SL should use every space and chances to increase our living standards that is what every citizens from expecting from a government! thatz my point.

We have no problem with Chinese business with SL as they are our biggest trading partner too. Going for military co operation will set the alarm, even if we loose our naval patroling at high seas..the LTTE will come back to SL.

This is not possible ground reality of SL right now and after the 2009. In the recent history I have seen India is facing new threats. Even in the global peace index India is in the last 10....

Srilanka will reamin in India's sphere of influence and we welcome any investment of China for the betterment of SL people and we will negate any moves which are against the National security of India. Mean while Srilanka can Milk the Chinese cow .

If you attack Sri Lanka, the Indian regime will get a little visit from the PLA. We have big interest in Sri Lanka, and an attack on Sri Lanka by the Indian regime will be the redline the Indians cross. We have global interests now, unlike in decades past. If it is in our national interest to protect Sri Lanka from Indian aggression, our leaders will send the PLAN to humiliate India like 1962.

Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh will give naval bases to the PLAN if India becomes a threat to them.
