ISLAMABAD: Chinese Dongfang Electric Corporation has formally handed over the operations of one-hundred and twenty-one megawatts Allai Khwar hydropower project to Water and Power Development Authority.
The power project situated in Batgram district on the tributary of Sindh River has been completed in seven and a half years at a cost of 13.8 billion rupees.
The Chinese company had earlier successfully completed 1450 megawatts Ghazi Barotha power house 96 megawatt Jinnah hydropower project in Kalabagh and 72 megawatts Khan Khwar hydropower project in Shangla.
