Seem to me that and yes, base on the video clip posted above Vietnam Marine Police was aggressive due to the action taken. They did tried to turn over CMS ship for any cause may occur. People said "Story always has both side" and base on the pictures was posted by Chinese members, that make me and I think the rest of people will understanding why the VMP did to CMS.

2 CMS was blocked and seize the Vietnam commercial ship, that is not looking right. At least, VMP face of to CMS which is BIGGER and STRONGER more than VMP.

As a balloon as it being pressed, its will explosion no matter how. VMP did not do wrong at this moment, but due to the face-off with China Marintim Surveilance, they kept running without a fight. Why? Because they was trespassing, with all lucky CMS has that was not meet VN Navy else it will be capture for sure.

we've did the right thing bro, that sucky ships went to our sea. IN GOD WE TRUST! that's it. no need to explain!

Yes, VMP did a right thing even though that action was taken could cost their lives, but VMP seem to be already sacrifice for their country. This how small deal with BIG and greedy.

1- Deng Xiao Peng want to prove to China Adminsitration that China Army is very weak, and he was used Vietnam as a test for they modernized their Army.[China gov still hide this story to their people]

2- After Revolution Culture, economic of China is weak and getting over population, so Deng Xiao Peng will used Vietnam as a Killing Machine to killed 50.000 troops [not include wounded]

3- Deng Xiao Peng want to prove USSR will not intervene due to Vietnam - USSR ally, and try to forced Vietnam withdraw troop from Cambodia.

Yes Vietnam was Defeated China and gave what Deng wants that VN killed China troops for China due to over population, Deng has possitive point to prove China Gov for their modernized China Army. Vietnam was not withdraw troops in Cambodia.

No, Vietnam was Loose due to lost lives and badly damage during boder skirmish, lost some part of Vietnam land. Economic was weak and get more weaker due to US ambargo and sanction. US at that time still lost face and hates Vietnam Gov. Spent thousands of gallons to burn China troops cost alot of money. USSR did not intervene as a ally as it was.

Then why didn't the Chinese ship change course before and after the collision?? The Vietnamese ship was trying to make it turn to port side. The ships were probably heading South, so going starboard side would be going West (i.e. Vietnam coast) and going port side would be going East (i.e. international waters).

Vietnam failed miserably ram the ship away.

So what are the Chinese going to do? Declare war against Vietnam? That's not an option. Sending more ships to patrol the area is what they can do.

That's exactly what we're doing. Just sending more ships to defy their claimed EEZ. They can try to ram our big ships with their little ships but they'll just damage themselves doing that.

If they open fire..... now that's a totally different story! Then Hanoi turns into a sea of fire.

But I was surprised that the Chinese ship didn't retaliate or show more aggression as how the Chinese usually do. Were they scared of the Vietnamese Navy? And why didn't the Chinese send a protest note to Vietnam? No warnings, no nothing. Something seems fishy here.....

In the long long history, there is only 1 time, Vietnam kicked off war, brough army deep into Chinese land. That was with our famous general Ly Thuong Kiet. We attacked them then retreated, attacked to prevent war, not to occupy land. All of the rest of wars were started by Chinese. And they all happened whenever the world have problem or China has internal problem

We say so to mean that we really don't want war. China is much bigger than Vietnam. If war happens, sure that is started by China. Next month, if Isarel and her allies attack Iran, then war spread over the world, the world will bw very busy with that war.....good chance for China to kick off her invasion on sea then Viet, Phi, Jap... have to fight back...wow....very messy situation.

If casualties is your criteria for winning or loosing the war for you then if we go by the same logic USSR lost WW-2. Afghans lost a battle with USSR. Grow up.You have not met with your war objectives. Huge achievement for Viet
