@andy_hujian , @Shishike and many other Chinese members,

I want to disperse the false assumption that Chinese are treated as second class citizens in the Philippines. Because from my personal experience, the Chinese-Filipinos are actually part of the elite of Filipino society. Many of the political leaders in the country have Chinese ancestry, the richest businessfolk in the Philippines are Chinese-Filipinos. In fact what i witness was there is such a large presence of Chinese in the Philippines. I was a bit saddened that there's not that many Japanese in Philippines. Well, not as much as the Chinese, lol.

Some pictures to show this cohesion of Sino culture in the Filipino society,

And unfortunately, it is they who are against the removing of economic restriction to allow direct FDI to flow in into the PH because they are afraid of having competitions from foreign firms despite that their own businesses have been well established here in the PH.

You have to ask the people from Fujian province as most Chinese going here to PH are from that province.

Many of the Chinese in the Philippines trace their ancestry to 2 provinces: Fujian and Guangdong. So it makes sense that there are cultural links and filial ties between the Filipino-Chinese to China. And vice versa.

typical to all chinese members here, they post any $hit they can find for vietnam and philippines and prolong the issue an act as if china is the best place on earth.
there's no denying that sometimes things like this happens here, judging our country's security from these alone is quite unfair. If you think its safer in Irag than here, be my guess go have a vacation there.

Btw, president of Filip is a Chinese-Filipion for your info, his ancestral home is Fujian.

There are safe places in the Philippines. A guy I work with has a dual-national wife from the Philippines - he's building a house for himself, as well as building stuff for his in-laws there. He has only good things to say about it. Well, he does say its very poor, but it doesn't bother him too much. He'd like to work remotely from there, but our employer isn't interested. :-(

I'm not sure anywhere in Iraq is safe for non-locals.

Please let us evade in negative tones. The point is that in my observation, Chinese people are integrated into Philippines. Even beauty is associated with Chinese features, East Asian features.

In fact when I was in Philippines , locals thought I was Chinese or Chinese-Filipino.

It is unfair to label or pre judge all our Filipino friends. Just as it is morally and ethically wrong to generalize all groups of people.

in Erbil people:yay:

Brother , don't joke around like that.
