Chinese barbaric Dog meat eating festival: Human rights save dogs after a fight

It's not for outsiders to stop China's internal animal cruelty. But we can stop facilitating it.

Just ask yourself how many stray dogs have being euthanized each year. Dogs are not a scarce commodity that need to be imported.

Activists are right to ask for cancellation of the festival. Just eating as food is different from what they showed in the festival.
I myself cant come to such a festival.
Lychee is delicious, btw.
China imported a lot of Lychee from Vietnam, we started to export Lychee to US , Japan and Australia too.

Humans and animals are not the same, though some white folks will argue otherwise! white people are of a different breed, they see dogs as not animals, but friends and family members who they would grow very attached to emotionally, spiritually, and more often than not sexually. This is the reason why bestiality is prevalent in the US and Europe, a term man's best friend really takes on a whole new meaning-- perhaps call it man's lover?

When you start to see this from the white man's pov, you will understand why they get so emotional and riled up when they hear news of OTHER people, in OTHER cultures, in OTHER countries treating these dogs in ways that they can not relate to.

Dog eating tradition are limited to a group of East Asian people only, including Han Chinese, Korean and North Vietnamese. Traditionally,.Japanese, South Vietnamese (from around Quang Binh province southward, where the population was Malay-speaking Cham and Khmer before colonized by North Vietnamese) and possibly some minorities in China do not eat dog meat.

I think the main reason is East Asian very open-minded living philosophy, thank to Confucious teaching.

Most other races in the world do not eat dog meat, but for very different reasons. In the past, many people in different parts of the world would rather die from starvation than eating pork, beef, dog meat, monkey, frog, snake, etc.

Actually, dog meat and even horse meat have been popular in Western world not too long ago. In France, they even had a fancy dog-meat restaurant...

dog-meat restaurant in Paris, France, this was one of their high end fancy restaurant. French people really loved to eat dogs back in the day, wonder what changed.

this one is a horse-meat restaurant from the United States, looks like from the 50s or 60s, even today, killing horses to eat their meat is very common and traditional in the United States countryside.
