Chinese ASAT vs US ASAT

How did you like the Chinese weapons in Vietnam?
Good enough. Funny the Americans and the South Vietnamese did not see any Chinese faces behind them, though. The only time the Chinese got their hands bloody in Viet Nam is when they beat up tied up POWs.

Actually no Chinese weapons either. If the Saudis gave Syrian rebels M-1 Abhrams, they wouldn't be Suadi weapons....they would still be American. Name one native Chinese weapon (not a copy of some one elses) used in any war since the 20th century. As far as the 50 cent army arguing with the US guys on the forum....save your breath. You are never going to convince any real American that a country that has had their azz handed to them every single time in the last 200 years (and that was actually the Qing, who were yet more foriegners who mopped the floor with China), was carved up....sold dope, is anything to be worried or respected. We had to rescue you from the Japs, you ripped out your own lousy culture to copy western ones (communism etc.) Thought it was smart to have morons make backyard steel, and can't even influence your own doorstep. Everything you do or make is 40 years after real countries....and is a cheap copy. You are still crowing that some how Russian design excellence means China matters. Save it for the Indians, Pakistanis and Phillipinos. We will never be impressed.

These guys have no experience in R/D and manufacturing, so what else can they interpret from the 'Make In China' tag other than with 'originating from China' idea? To be 'originating from' is to be 'invented from', not merely manufactured according to specs. China may have invented/discovered gunpowder, but firearms, from muskets to 21st century artillery, originated from the West. Even if we grant the generosity that China invented the kite, true aerodynamic exploitation to make possible flight, lighter and heavier than, originated from the West.
