No, the real target isn't Russia or China. Is sending the message to other countries that they will sanction anyone who deals with them.

This pretty much kills the Turkish deal unless it can get a waiver. It is pretty much guaranteed to get a waiver in response of which China will demand one too .



It probably would depend on if Europe joins in on imposing the same sanctions. China wouldn't stop buying, but any entities Sanctioned as such cannot do business in other countries. That would have cascading implications.

China bears no similarity with Turkey as in size.

Yes, US mighty Sanction will cripple Norinco and AVIC. US will stop buying Chinese J-20, Type 055 destroyer, Chinese EMALS, Chinese railgun and VT-4 MBT. These sanction will bankrupt China as China will lost billions of military deal selling weapon to US.

Donald Trump, despite a lot of buzz on his criminal like personality and character, although he could really be a criminal in American standard, definitely sees the problem, which is that the U.S. economy has become more and more virtualized and manufacturing is moving away. They are now making less and less real things.

Somewhat his white fellow working class have been suffering and will be suffering more in the future just because of the change. That's why he wants to reverse the change.

Apparently he is not agreed by the main stream ruling class, including those big families like Bush, McCain, Clinton, Kerry etc.

I don't believe he's gonna make it because he is surrounded by enemies. This stupid sanction just remarks how hostile his surrounding is to him. Definitely a good chance to make him look like a clown!
