If the ambassador is killed, I doubt that Israel is involved. Because it will destroy their credibility in international diplomatic society. It is their job to protect the ambassador. To failed protecting him alone will tarnish Israel's prestige. Not to mention murder him in their own land.

If its deliberate, more like CIA works than mossad.
Israel will not kill the ambassador in their own territory, too rough and endanger their country reputation.
