Chinese that have experience with militaries around the world can bring back a wealth of knowledge to china. Also, if China pays Nepal and Nepalese an annual contract for their Gurkhas to train the Chinese Special forces in all kinds, but especially mountain warfare in the Himalayas, it can go along way in countering India. Gurkhas that have experience with the Indian Military and with the British/Commonwealth Militaries overseas can bring a whole host of knowledge from their decades of experience.

Receuiting Gurkhas to help the PLA has been discussed years ago in Chinese Media. It would have a huge Psychological effect on the Indians as well.
