Well Guys What's Your Idea If China Attacks Taiwan for How Long Taiwan Air Force can survive against PLA AIR FORCE I want expert opinion because Taiwan has hell of an Airforce

Most of the think tanks working out the taiwan scenario assumes that the 1000+ ballistic missiles would render Taiwan airports mostly useless very, very quickly and those aircraft that can be put in the air(by some miracle) would be outnumbered(now) and soon outclassed(with the j-10b and j-20). However if the missile weren't used then there would certainly be a hard fight for air supremacy, in the end however even if not due to quality, PLAAF would win out simply by being able to field more aircraft and handle more losses given that taiwan has very little options when it comes to hurting the mainland's production capabilities

Taiwan might be able to contest the skies, but im pessimistic for the duration.

5 days max enough time for Chinese soliders to breach Tiwan

Problem with countries with low square mile territories is obvious , its easily occupied by incoming tanks and troops

Once the airports are taken - airforce becomes useless as the planes cannot land and refuel or re-arm

That is why USA builds small tiny bases all over world to ensure if bases in one territory are taken others still exist for counter

There's a whole RAND paper on this. Their models give a China win, with or without the USAF support from Japan, Guam etc. And the report was from about two years ago.
