The first batch of the 7,000 tents worth RMB 30 million in total donated by the Chinese Government was delivered by air in Karachi on Friday, said a press release issued here by the of Chinese Embassy. The Chinese Government on September 11 pledged to provide an emergency humanitarian aid worth RMB 30 million to the Pakistani Government to help the flood relief efforts.

The aid, 7,000 tents in total, is what Pakistan needs most at the moment and is to be delivered by nine planes in two batches. The second batch will reach Karachi on September 24. China is one of the first foreign countries pledging and delivering immediate humanitarian aid to Pakistan in the aftermath of the floods in some parts of the country this year.

Chinese aid for flood-victims reaches Pakistan

The first batch of the 7,000 tents worth RMB 30 million in total donated by the Chinese government reaching by air in Karachi in the early morning of September 23.

The Chinese government on September 11 declared to provide an emergency humanitarian aid worth RMB 30 million to the Pakistani government to help it s flood relief efforts, said a press release of Chinese embassy issued here on Thursday.

The aid, 7,000 tents in total, is what Pakistan needs most at the moment and is to be delivered by nine planes in two batches.The second batch will reach Karachi on September 24.
China is one of the first foreign countries pledging and delivering immediate humanitarian aid to Pakistan in the aftermath of the floods in some parts of the country this year.

As a close and friendly neighbour of Pakistan,China feels as much pain as Pakistan does and would like to continue to assist Pakistan to the best of its capability in order to support the Pakistani people overcome the disaster at an early date, concluded the press release.

The first batch of Chinese assistance with 7000 tents to Pakistan has arrived in Karachi by air plane in early morning on Friday.

After parts of Pakistan hit by floods this year, the Chinese government decided to provide an emergency humanitarian aid worth 30 million yuan (about 4.7 million U.S. dollars) to the Pakistani government.

The assistance mainly consisted of 7000 tents, a total of nine aircraft sorties, delivered in two batches. The second batch will be delivered to Pakistan on Sept. 24.

China is one of the first countries which announced and implemented to provide relief aid to Pakistan after the flood.

The IL-76 is arguably the best transport aircraft for both in Civilian, and Military use. It's powerful, and cost efficient. Not many aircraft can guarantee that.
