Koreans, Chinese and Vietnamese eat dogs and cats and should also hold cat and dog eating festivals in Peking, Shanghai, Seoul and Hanoi. Also organize beef festival in Delhi and Kathmandu.

I have never heard that we have held any special broadcasted beef eating festival in hindu areas of Pakistan. Atleast we have that much respect of our minorities.

But why specifically hold a beer festival in their region, their own territory. Its like specifically hurting their feelings on purpose. Then when they protest they will be hunted like animals.

Xinjiang is always multicultural, and it becomes a part of China long before the Islamic era.

BTW, there are nearly half of the population in Xinjiang is Han Chinese.

This is one reason I dont fully support our relations with China. They are quite anti muslim.

The Chinese social attitude on Muslim changed in 1990's. One is Indonesia anti-Chinese riots in 1998, another is Xinjiang terrorism attack in 2009. These two things make vast Han nationalist hate muslim. A common sense among nationalism: iron fist to muslim.

Well, both Han and Uighurs are the majority in Xinjiang, and most Uighurs are secular and against the idea of the religion fundamentalism.

Well, both Han and Uighurs make up about 40% of the population, it is the duo majority groups.

BTW, the beer festival is hosted in the Han majority place like Urumqi, so it is not near a mosque or something.
