'Chindustan' - The New Slogan For India China Friendship

Now back to adult discussion on the thread. Economic interests usually resolve other political and boundary acrimonies between neighboring nations. Europe matured to the current co-operation between neighbor states due to the economic advantages of remaining on peaceful terms. The EU is the largest indicator of how nations which once despised each other can become protectorates of each other due to economic advantages of working together. In a loose sense of the term, the federation of states of the United States of America is an example of various states merging to form a country due to the economic advantage of such a move. China and India clearly realise that acrimony between them will not serve their long term goal of economic growth. Their prevailing peace and mutual co-operation is paying financial dividends. India and Bangladesh have started off in that direction recently. All of these countries economies are being rewarded and will hopefully mature to full level trade co-operation which will force them into a peaceful trade confederation. Hopefully Pakistan will start stabilising on a political level soon and will start engaging on a similar level. Thereafter the sky will be the limit for Asia

This really is a welcome sign for the mutual prosperity of India and China.

Recently I was on a business cum pleasure tour to China. There are some language problems in China also. This is why it seems, Prof. Jiang Jingkui, spoke about the incidence at Tamil Nadu, though jokingly. At Shanghai, Mandarin language is not so popular. Local people there prefer to speak Shanghainese only.

It’s very commendable that senior Indian diplomat honorable Arun Sahu trying intense to galvanize the pool of talent for the betterment of India-China relations. I wish him good luck for this patriotic expedition.

Good move as it help's encourage interaction of common people from both countries helping them understand one another a great deal better. 'Chindustan' - fire whoever was responsible for this horrible PR campaign as the name is absolutely pathetic but comes as no surprise considering we're talking about Indians.

Not really. India today cancelled a high level delegation visit of Chinese Army in retaliation to ambiguity in visas to people in the state of Kashmir and for China's rejection of Visas for Army majors from North east.

People make no mistake. India has an independent foreign policy and it cares a hoot if the other side is snobbish.
