Easier said than done, if East Asian countries can form a Union it will be the world biggest economic power by a large margin, Asian dollar can kill US dollar hands down. But east Asians hate each other, worse than that in Europe.

Japan occupies the island, not China. Taiwan's official name is Republic of China, I support Taiwan's claim over SCS, PRC n ROC don't have dispute in SCS, when did you hear Taiwan and mainland China accuse each other for SCS? Dreaming to become a super-power is one thing. Actually becoming that powerful is another. And being able to hold on to that power is altogether different thing.

China is somewhere between steps 1 & 2 but behaving as if it is 3 since times immemorial.

China shows no signs of deserving to be a long term global power. It has no country as friends. It has only stooges or enemies. India extended such a warm hand of friendship. But China's ambitions are so big that it sees an enemy in anyone approaching it with a smile. It is a sign of fear. It looks at everyone with suspicion and as a hurdle in its dream of becoming a global power.

Just accumulating money & weapons & arrogance does not make one a super-power. The most important ingredient required is "maturity".

Sorry China, you have lost the plot even before it began. Mend your ways or be ready to see all your dreams turn upside down.

The present BJP govt is trying its best to undo everything bad that the Nehru clan did. This clan has NOT done everything wrong but have definitely done some blunders which India is paying for heavily. Most importantly, this clan hardly had any emotional connect with India. They are more like foreign bred Indians (NRIs).

If Modi & BJP are not budging on Tibet & Dalai Lama, there must be solid reason for it. Do not expect India to accept everything that China does ("One China Policy") when China does not reciprocate (prodding Pak against India).

India has never had expansionist agenda. It is genetic to Indic faiths to NOT expand into foreign territories. Even after defeating Ravan, Ram handed over the kingdom to Ravan's brother. India has in fact given up parts of its territories to foreigners. But it cant go on forever. Some will never understand it because of their religious brainwashing, but China better understand it. India and China are way more similar than the ones whom China is trying to use against India. Do not make India accept everything you aim for. Wont happen. Friendship with India will be 10x beneficial for China and it may be 5x for India too. Enmity with India will have reverse impact (more damaging for China than India). Temporary stooges will come & go. Differentiate between long term versus temporary. Understand basic fundamentals

Exactly. India knows very well that not everyone is with India in K-valley. India (& the world) also knows very well that the root of "Kashmir issue" is not India, Pak, China, UN, USA, Europe or any other. It is the same root as it is in many other places of mortal earth. It is "divine interference" in matters of mortal earth. But whatever it is, India knows it exists and not pretending that there is no issue.

China on the other hand, wants everyone to believe its "One China Policy" by intimidation, force, whatever and pretends as if there is no issue. Just last week, I read news about USA selling some weaponry to Taiwan. In our case of K-valley, Pak can at the most UNOFFICIALLY admit that they arm militants ("freedom fighters" in Pak's language). Officially they cant admit even that. Nowhere in the world exists a province/territory within one country (#1) which does direct arms deal with another country (#2) which is at loggerheads with that country (#1) .
