lol, the WS-2D was introduced in 2006, while HIMARS was introduced in 2010.

Why called it a Chinese HIMARS when it was introduced earlier with superior firepower?

HIMARS is different animal. It was designed for transport by C130. The WS-2D is huge and won't fit. However, I believe the U.S. should have something SMERCH like vehicle to fire bigger missiles besides the small 13 feet long missiles currently in use by HIMARS and M270.

I read a Chinese report that the CEP of PCL191 to be 1 meter at 300km.

HIMARS wont' help Taiwan due to short range. PHL 191 with 5 times the range can sit comfortably in Mainland China and strike anywhere in Taiwan. HIMARS on the other hand, lacking the range to shoot across the strait can only hide.

Wouldn't underestimate the Taiwanese in how they develop their missiles. Obviously the U.S. won't provide them the new PRSM missile with 500km or more as well as possible 800km or more in future. But if they learn anything from the South Koreans, they can build their own version to hit far into China.

What PRSM missiles? don't count your chickens before they get inducted. Taiwan's got nothing to underestimate. All they have is a subsonic cruise missile. Good luck getting that past multiple layered AA zones.

Any mention of Chinese version of HIMARS is in fact a defamation, a put-down, a belittlement of the Chinese rocketry systems. Chinese rockets out range their American counterparts by a huge margin, have better precision, have more varieties of munitions, and probably better mobility.

We know that China will never attack Taiwan and anyway who attacks their own people?

Taiwan will within a decade starts talks on reunification with China and we need to take a step back here and not think of war as being the solution to everything.

If you think Taiwan will want reunification in a decade then i have a bridge to sell you.
If anything with each passing year Taiwanese have gotten only more anti China not otherwise. In fact it's the old remaining immigrants from KMT who fled CCP take over who actually still have fond memories and love of their hometowns in China and are neutral.or even positive abiut some sort of reunification (but they are all dying already and on their last legs) compared to the young ones/locals in Taiwan who have grown even more apart from the mainland than ever before. If the election of DPP who is staunchly pro independence and anti China doesn't make you realise that then i dont know what else can make you guys realise this reality the best time for a peaceful reunification should have been in the 80s and 90s after the death of Mao and Chiang(who had a staunch personal beef and rivalry with Mao/CCP and vice versa ) when KMT still had strong hold of power uncontested in Taiwan, but that would have necessitated some kind of power sharing deal with CCP, which we know as a one party state and a party that prones itself as China itself or even avove the state is unacceptable for CCP as well. Lol

The only way you guys can make Taiwan accept CCP leadership of China is by use of force eventually. Short of that then both sides can keep pretending Taiwan is part of China under CCP while the world knows Taiwan is defacto an independent self ruling state in reality. So I think the status quo suits Taiwan even more.
