Nonsense!! Are you aware that China is India's biggest trading partner? Do you know that India's trade with China is in the region of $65 billion and slated to touch $100 billion by 2015? Do you know that many expensive infrastructure projects including highways, energy, ports, high speed rail networks and so on have been contracted to China?

With the Indian government planning to spend around $1 trillion on infrastructure projects, India 'will like China to play an important role' in this sector over the next few years according to official government sources. Chinese companies have already completed and are in the process of executing infrastructure projects worth $40 billion in India so far with billions worth more projects in the pipeline. A large chunk of India's $100-billion worth power sector equipment will be sourced from China in the next five years.

In contrast Sino-Pak trade is worth just $7 billion thus far, though their friendship is 'higher than the mountains and deeper than the oceans'.

So, I suggest the Chinese posters on this forum cease bashing India at the drop of a hat. Please banish the thought that India and China are enemies. They are rivals, yes, but not enemies. So tone down the anti India rhetoric and face reality. This is not about emotional relationships between countries. It is all about good hardcore economics and that's the bottom line.

any war or war like situation in Asia will affect the entire globe, cause polarity and give no outcome..well plz my chenese friends visit your villages you'll find much more poverty than india..heard many chinese fellas talking abt GDP and per capita incomes...plz check hw many rural people are getting benefited..same is applicable for indians...its better improve standard of living of people living in these countries..(no1 and no2 in population) then we'll talk about going on each other for a war!

I strongly believe that India should bring its military might to the level that it is able to "take On" both Pakistan and China together...

I also do strongly believe that apart from the military strength, India should work extensively to have good relations with China... India and China were the richest countries and major economic powers for 2000 years, while the "West" was all nomadic and "uncivilized"...

last 200 years have seen us getting to the bottom of the pile.. and now our time has come once again...Instead of stupidly talking about war between China and India, and how we r enemy no. 1 for each-other, the two nations should work together (as they are already doing to some extent..) to be the leaders and gain their rightful place in the World order once again!
