China’s New Mega Rocket Design Shows NASA’s SLS Is Already Obsolete

Do you guys even understand the proper context of 'obsolete'? Or do you just throw up the word hoping in vain that it will embarrass US? Just because China built something using new parts that accomplish the same functions/goals, that does not mean the current methods are 'obsolete'.

Does this new Chinese rocket uses the current liquid fuel method? Yes. Voila...!!! The American rocket is 'obsolete'.

Have any of you guys ever even attend a technology seminar or conference? The horse drawn wagon, while still functional even today, is truly obsolete. Its capabilities, from speed to payload, cannot support the current economic demands and the calculus is the final determinant in what make a technology truly obsolete. Now, the use of the word 'economy' is not confined to just money and wealth. The word 'economy' is more about production of goods and services, wealth comes later. Has this new Chinese rocket changed the economy of transport from Earth to space in any way? Aaahhh...No. However, SpaceX effectively changed the economics of that transport. SpaceX and Starlink altered the course of a war. But SpaceX uses the same propulsion as everyone else, so SpaceX have not made any rocket technology obsolete.

But you guys can wank away even though this new Chinese rocket have not done anything yet...

You are wrong. US NASA and Elon Musk invention are kiddy when compare to CNSA putting man into space.

Btw, its not ppt. This prototype already in flight.

Until you actually launch anybody this is all vaporware/hype.

Just as the Falcon Heavy is the current most powerful active rocket because the SLS and Starship have not actually gotten off the ground. So until they actually prove themselves they aren't even on the list and are basically hype.

Lol.. it has launch and off the ground. Not only that. It has even return to earth after the launch.

Becos it surpass US space tech, of cos it need to be off the list to ease your sour wounded ego. :enjoy:

LOL! I don't see your spacestation astronauts using it..plus why are you wasting money on this:

Don't be so impatient. It will revolutionize space travel soon.

Wouldn't you be happier if it's later by few years before it's first manned mission? :enjoy:

A few years..ok now it really sounds like vaporware.

Even the Starship is within months of launch.

Copy? lol, China is late to the party as usual the US and others have already been there and done that fifty years ago. Meanwhile, NASA is busy with its lunar gateway deep space station project first launch in November 2024. The next US low earth orbit space station will be a commercial enterprise around 2025.

what a clown, how is fastest docking even a thing? May be beastie thinks it will be an olympic event in 2024.
Of cos sourgrape loser think it has no real life application. In case of emergency, the fastest the better. This kind of high tech is too difficult for novice like american to understand. :enjoy:

you do know the space station is already equipped with a crew escape module.
And what kind of space emergency can wait 2 hours for a response. This is assuming a rocket is prepped, fueled and ready to launch. Please use your brain.

Edit: I forgot you have to wait for the space station to be directly over the launch site to achieve 2 hours dock. So that is 26 hours of wait ...for an emergency.lol

911: what's your emergency?
Beast: My house is on fire
911: we'll be there in 26 hours ..don't worry. :suicide:

You starship is not even revolutionize, can it launch into space and directly land back on earth like a plane on runaway?
Better, it doesn't even need a runway. It lands like a helicopter, right next to your house😂

No... I don't want to be flip around and get a headache ..

Why not? Maybe in 2hours time ISS gonna crash back to earth if without some spare from earth. China Dong Fong express can deliver to you. :enjoy:

It can be done and prep and China is exactly gonna do a standby rocket in near future for emergency to space station.
