Too bad, the western medias chose to ignore this news that will not only benefit China, but for the whole world.

Meanwhile, they are always the one who bashes China with the pollution excuses, but they don't want to see China's improvement over the environment.

Our power plant is 276 g/kwh, while the best one in Holland is 286 g/kwh, and the best one in Japan is 292 g/kwh. That's a big difference. :enjoy:

10-20g/kwh a big difference? it's a improvment, but you are also consuming a shit ton more coal compared to Holland and Japan.
kinda offsets that 10-20g/kwh savings

You have to get your electricity from somewhere and unless commercial fusion station start rolling off the lines tomorrow, coal fire plants will operate and remain operate for quite some time. The difference is that this is a right step in reducing the pollution.

This is obviously good news for anyone except for the sour grapes out there and the green eyed monsters lurking around China's shoreline.

China, unfortunately, is fighting an uphill battle. China has one large coastline. America has 3 large coastlines: the west coast, the southern coast, and the east coast. America also has the shorelines for the Great Lakes, Alaska, and Hawaii. This means China is concentrating lots of people, pollution, and waste onto one area, while America is spreading things out and decreasing its concentration of people, pollution, and waste.

It's a good thing China has population control combined the ambition, work ethic, and intelligence to fight the uphill battle.

Do you know what 10 grams of carbon dioxide looks like and how big it is?

I think 10 g of carbon dioxide in typical situations is at least 5.06 liters depending on the temperature and atmospheric pressure. Multiply that over hours of operation for days, weeks, or years, and then multiply that over multiple power plants. It's clearly a gradual improvement.

China obviously has other environmental plans. Eventually, China will advance beyond its industrial revolution and focus on an efficient economy that is more about quality of improvement and less on quantity of progress. Industrial revolutions always generate lots of benefits and lots of drawbacks at a fast rate. The next step is efficient gains, or maximizing benefits while minimizing drawbacks.

We are the world leader in clean power plant technology. Let them eat our dust!

yeah they're quite literally eating your dust along with half a billion Chinese

clean power or clean coal is pretty funny and a oxymoron
