Laws, you don't have to like it, but you do have to obey it. One case could set the whole law backwards. True, perhaps some don't deserve to be there, there are American cases too, but you can't go soft on a borderline case, then when you get a real one, what do you do.

I bring up handful cases because it been shown to be so in open congressional hearings. because it is now banned in america. If it was more we would not disagree but was proven only to be a handful cases. because instead of making excuses we said it was wrong thing to do so , openly! I never refuted we did not waterboard.

You do know laws have been passed to scale down and eventual elimination of the labor camps, as well as investigations.

You can't hide it if you pass laws and investigate as well as promise to eliminate.

What I'm questioning is the number of cases, and what they classify as terrorists, and rights activists. Or even persecution. You know if a person's annoying as hell, let's call him that blind jack, a couple people picking on him is not persecution. It's not deserved or legal, but also not on the orders of the communist party.

There are various sources from human right groups muslim groups that have accused US of waterboarding and detaining not in Guantanamo but also a few other places, the numbers killed and tortured be it by accident or not, innocent or guilty is also not in the teens or if some to be believed hundreds.

So who is to believe, take everything with a grain of salt. All these kinds of cases are top secret for all countries and for countries like US and China who spent so much on internal security. Their secret keeping skills is also no easily broken.

As highlighted...Fine...We can accept that. But what motivate the laws, as different as they are, is the point of contention by human rights specialists.

These specialists believes that the right and freedom to criticize the government is inherent, meaning it is already and always there, not granted by anyone and can only be infringed upon by others. Since China believes otherwise, meaning all rights and freedoms are derived from the State, and whatever the State giveth, the State can also taketh.

All China have to do is organize a global conference to redefine what constitute a 'human right' and to present it as a challenge to the currently acceptable Western defined concept of what is a 'human right'.

As an example...

- In the US, it is legal to belong to the Communist Party.

- In China, it is illegal to belong to a democratic party.

That is democrat, not Democrat.

Now all China have to do is organize a global conference to get as many countries as possible to agree that it should be illegal to belong to a democratic party.

They often executes small criminals to finish the quota. People are shot on back side of the head in public (video available on you tube). People are mass executed. People stands in queue waiting for their turn of execution. It is as horrible as beheading of criminals in Saudi Arabia. They can not utter a single word against their government. We have witnessed this on Chinese defense forum.
