its not made in China its assembled in China

all the parts come from US and UK

The thread title is about a rivalry with Boeing and Airbus so I talked keeping that in mind.

Yeah that is the longer term scenario. But right now only domestic I believe.

However it was reported that ARJ-21 jet has been sold to Cambodia already.

Huh? only engine. some avionics and maybe hydraulics and landing gear parts may come from US and UK for now. But those will also be locally made in China soon. Entire airframe, wings and control surfaces not only built from scratch but also designed in China.

These are specialized products and some items are only made by a handful of Western suppliers.

Read up on this brother. If you have questions ask away.

sorry. I just saw your reply.

you should have noticed. Indians first provoke in this thread. distorting the facts and lying openly. and start personal attacks first. I respect every country. Whether poor or rich. But I can hardly tolerate malicious provocation and lying.

Apologize again: Sorry. I should not bring Bangladesh into that reply.

good night.

No problem brother, we are not ashamed to admit who we are in Manjala, unlike Indians.

One may be poor (there is no shame in it) but one must be honest and hard-working to improve one's condition.

We realize that China will always be a friend for Bangladesh, our Thanks to Premier Xi and the CCP for completing all our mega projects (mostly built by Chinese contractors like CREC and MBEC).

They don't give a shit about outside buyers,China need 8700 planes in next 20 years ,worth 1.8 trillion USD.
If China can manage a significant portion of their massive local market ,it should place Chinese planes in same lvl of international acceptability as Chinese bullet trains are. Only problem is ,West wouldn't certify Chinese planese ,to protect duopoly of boeing and airbus.
China cares about international markets as much as Airbus and Boeing care about China. It's too big a market to ignore. It will just take some time, that's all. As for Western certification of the aircraft, this is not true. The ARJ-21 is already certified. In addition, playing games with certification is a two-way street. China can ground Western-made aircraft for any reason. No, I doubt such games will be played because it helps no one.

The only issue would involve subsidies given to COMAC or the airlines who buy them, but this is an issue to be taken up with the WTO.

You chingchongs eat literally anything that moves - insects, bats, rats, pangolins, weird sea creatures etc etc, which can easily be found on the ground or the ocean. On the other hand, Indians have to make an effort to grow their food - wheat, corn. lentils, tomatos, onions, etc etc, you probably haven't heard of these crops

Chinese who eat plastic rice, drink gutter oil, are accustomed to consuming poison as food habits every day... should not even joke on hygiene.
I mean... millions were wiped out like animals just a few decades back because their own dictator did not consider them worthy enough for a grain of rice.

Chinese fudge data regularly (and sometimes get caught), so you can't ever be sure this wumao will not beg for rice in the street tomorrow.

Chinese data on food stocks are just estimates. On the contrary, Indian foodgrain stocks are public knowledge, Indian demand of foodgrains is public knowledge. You can get all the info by filing a 10 INR RTI.

So save your endangered brain cells wumao
You f slum bottom human life indians stop your disgusting racist slurs on chinese if you have any self awareness and shame.

China Southern CEO will go by China's own airworthiness certificate.

Most airlines in China are at least partially state-owned and they will follow govt. directives.

No need to split hairs with arguments.

COMAC has assured market inside China. End of story.

Already COMAC ARJ-21 regional jet has been in use for over a decade successfully. ARJ-21 was inducted into China Southern Fleet two years ago. And other carriers too.

That is what I said lol, and you are repeating it like Beijing......

I mean if the Chinese government is going to force their company to buy them, then yeah, it won't be a problem, but my point is, if they are not forced to, would they? I mean it's just 6 million off of a Boeing.

It's chinese states own company buying chinese made airplane. The CEOs of those company made the diciscion. Like the recently descide to buy 250+ airbus and give 0 order for Boeing737.

Government doesn't have to force anything. If anything, it'll be the Chinese public that will force the airlines to switch with nationalistic sentiment. The airlines that don't fly c919 will be named and shamed.
If this is the case, then should we see a larger order of C919 from the Chinese Airline? 870 is not a big number, like you said, if national sentiment is an issue, buying 250 Airbus and then buy 20 C919 should have already been name and shamed.

Again, the same replies as above, then we should have seen C919 ordered in thousands at least (there are 6000 standing order for Airbus A320 and 5300 for Boeing 737 MAX despite those accident) 800 plus change order is not really that much, and as other people said China is going to need 8000 plus aircraft in the next 10 years
