China's first manual space docking being successful

. . . . .
Mashallah :)

May China keep on rising and may Chinese don't get "arrogant" due to their successes ...like West got after their successes...

The arrogance means the beginning of your failure, the Chinese people have a tradition to prevent that to happen.

There is smarter people and there is higher mountain, so make sure you are not always the best even you become successful. :coffee:

The result of 1,500+ practices on earth before the manual docking in space! The TV commentator says this manual docking is more accurate than the previous remote control dockings!

What has made this docking more exciting other than it is done manually are:
1. the equipment, sensors etc are fully functional on both craft - Tiangong 1 has been orbiting in space since last September.
2. it strengthens the capabilites of the mission that the docking can be done day and night, manually and by remote control!

Taikonaut Liu Wang was the controller of the docking exercise.

The standard docking allows a margin of errors of 4 degrees. This manual exercise was able to accomplish the docking within an error of 1 degree and the time was shortened by 3 minutes!

They are able to communicate with the ground control through e-mail on top of live TV transmission both ways!

The Taikonauts will be back to earth in 4-5 days time! Best wishes and well done!

Yep, USA and Russia still use the same techniques as they were using during the Cold War, except with the improved technologies.

China has finished to explore all these techniques with the safe and reliable modern technologies, people simply can't say China is decades behind USA and Russia.

For example, in 60 years ago USA bombed people with B-52, and today they bomb people with B-2, so same technique with improved technology. :coffee:

another tick in the box as one of our accomplishments.

[this success made me very happy and proud after i was in a very angry mood and hurt by the recent New York Times article slandering our economy].
