In a netcentric environment, such drones will provide real time data to tanks such as VT-4. The tank will automatically adjust and fire on a target it cannot see but will still be able to hit it accurately. In other words, these drones will be eyes and ears of tanks sitting kilometers away.

Can it fire atgms, if yes then it should be procured however its cost gas not been disclosed. If its price is too high then z10s are better considering that they carry more payload and can remain longer and higher on the battlefield. Still I'm hopeful they will induct it, though many people blame our higher command for virtually every thing, they are making very sensible procurements and they are also learning from recent battles, let's not also forget that Azeri officers usually do their staff/war courses from Pakistan and their troops have also been trained by PA, moreover note our successes in the war on terror which has proven not only the training of our troops but also the flexibility and competency of our command, though mistakes have also been made. Still, What are the specs of the drones. Being the only one to procure vt4s in western Asia the customer is likely to be Pakistan. Great procurement if true

Such systems are ideal for LOC. To hit Indian posts and not crossing LOC. Although this new order of this drone I really doubt it's from Pakistan. I personally think it's from some arab country.
I don't know why Pakistan hasnt invented these themselves...
Cost of design development tooling etc. Is less than the price of a single tank.

Possibility exist for both possibilities.

A bunch of idiots in this thread , what does this say >
> The South Asian nation has recently inducted Chinese-made VT-4 battle tanks and the CR500 has been designed to work with this type of tank as a target spotter and to guide its fire.

Thailand/Pakistan are the possible customers
But Thailand doesn't come in South Asia, the idiots at least know this

China, UAE Forge New Deals; Joint R&D Plan & New Drone Sales

Chyrine Mezher

The UAE army plans to buy a bunch of new Chinese unmanned aerial vehicles, one official who wished not to be named told Breaking Defense at IDEX.

“The deals could include 10 to 15 Golden Eagle CR500 helo drones fitted with Red Arrow 12 missiles, and 20 MR40 unmanned aircraft fitted with BBE-2 bombs,” the official told me, adding that both deals will approximately cost $9 million and $7 million respectively.

The UAE is also set to receive “thousands of related missile systems”, he added, with the CR500 being able carry up to 150KG of payloads.

But they didn't buy VT4?!. Still if the news is true then I'm disappointed. I would love to see these birds with our armoured formations. It would have been revolutionary
CR500 helo drones fitted with Red Arrow 12 missiles,
It would have caused total devastation on the Indian planners as well as on their armoured divs/IABGS

.
1 armored division cost 1 billion USD. tens of thousands of soldiers.
10 helicopter drone, cost just 1%, a few soldiers. Safer, no risk of lives, destroy enemies BVR.

Well said!!
The future, for now, is to develop and equip yourself with a mixture of manned/unmanned, traditional, and smart weapon systems, especially if you want to get the most out of your budget.
