China's average salary is still about half of Taiwan

Although China is developing fast, the average salary is still around half of Taiwan.
It is a shame to the communist party. Chinese are smarter than Taiwanese, but the salaries are so low.

Taiwan average salary: 35376 NTD = 7000 Yuan/month
China average salary: 3806 Yuan/month

Taiwan should not compare with whole mainland. Taiwan and Beijing have same scale of population, both about 20 million. Beijing's average salary is 5793 Yuan/month, close to Taiwan. And Taiwan's daily expenses are higher than Beijing's.

As far as i knew in Taiwan daily living cost twice time more than living in Mainland China, for example fast food at noon 8~15RMB in mainland, but >20RMB in TaiWan.

Living in TaiWan except tropical fruits & luxury goods cheaper (lower tariffs ), most cost higher than living in Mainland China.

Of course on average, mainland is still lower.


But there are several job that have interesting salary.

yes, in China, many low-wage positions are with free acommodation and super super cheap welfare meals.
Many companies also provide goods from time to time, like 5L oliver oil, washing liquid, movie tickets or supermarket coupon, blabla

Taiwan's salary is not very high, I am very surprised that the Taiwan college graduate are talking about 22K as salary.

Can I ask, how is the real estate price in Taipei ? And anything showing the gap between rich and poor in Taiwan ?
