All the more you should be ashamed instead of bragging and boasting considering what you have achieved with the great number of Indian talents. Hinduism did spread seawards to South Asia and up to Indonesia, but not to East Asia. It did not cross the Himalayas. Buddha is not a typical Bharat as can be seen from his portrait. I don't think the people populating ancient Bodh Gaya are Bharats. In Chinese folklore, they have "Journey to the West". No such thing as "Journey to India", or "Journey to Bharat".
So, Buddha achieved enlightenment not in India, but at a location that is included in modern India. Chinese never BS that Lord Shiva is Chinese because Mount Kailash is in modern day China.

Really? If you forget about modern borders of India and China for a minute, still both Buddha and Shiva are very much tied to Dharmics cultures that originated from the land and people who inhibited the modern day Indian. Culturally, linguistically and racially, they are Dharmics.
