It sounds ludicrous , Chinese don't even need to invade an inch of Indian territory to smoke their capital up , plus the lies that Indian military sells to its public about " Brahmos being the only Supersonic missile in operation anywhere on the planet " have died a terrible death with Chinese deployment of CJ-10A [2000+kms] & DH-10 [4000+kms] with a speed of Mach-2.5.
Chinese are playing politics on this matter not that they have to fear anything.

The nearest border from Delhi is the border surrounding the state Uttarakhand.

now the distance between Delhi and Joshimath( a city in the outer of Nanda Devi biosphere) is around 470 km, now the distance between Joshimath and border is between 70-100 km, adds up a total of around 550 to 600 km which is way beyond the capability of your SY-400, forgot to mention the the world's highest mountain range standing in between.

so please dont believe all this farce, even somehow they manage to make their shells travel the distance( with a super extended range), they need to place their artillery inside Indian borders or at least at the borders, which will be an easy target for Indian shelling systems ,remember our shells priority is the borderlands.
