The common language of this year's Australian Army Skill at Arms Meeting (AASAM), conducted at Puckapunyal Military Area range is marksmanship. Chinese and US Army talk about the difficulties of Match 20 – Barricade Match.

The Indian Army regularly sends observers here, the IA has its interests in Europe and SE Asia.

We participate in multiple military competitions throughout Europe and we have won a Special Forces competition in SA involving the British, US etc

you have to get an invitation for participating in the competitions

But according to your chainese mate @Psyops, Indians don't participate because they don't want to expose their real capabilty.

Going by the same logic, since this is the first time ever chinese have participated am guessing they were afraid of exposing their real capabilities up until last year:lol:

Every military has specific budget for international training exercises and competitions, and they obviously can't participate in each and every event. Say for example the Chinese army doesn't participate in Cambrian patrol competition held in the UK every year, it doesn't mean that they don't get invited.

I think its useless to post air exercise to compare to special forces competition. This kind of sniper exercise has no compromise of national security as it showcase only the superior skill of the sniper of individual effort while in air exercise, its obvious why PLAAF never participate in any of the western mock exercise. A fighter jet going into foreign airspace will indeed risk the chance of leaking the spec and secret of certain fighter jet.

Even during the Sino-Turkey mock air exercise. The PLAAF only allow the worst variant of Chinese flanker of Su-27SK with Russian avionice and weapon to be allow to leave CHinese airspace and enter a NATO friendly area for training. J-10 and J-11B are strictly not allow to participate in this kind of diplomatic exercise to compromise any of PLAAF secret.
