What do you expect from the "democratic" european union?

Its time to show them the last time the west could bully China was decades ago:china:

Nah am not mad. Just a realist and a good person. I quoted you so you can reply to me once more and earn an extra 50. Would hate to see you go hungry. this way at least i know i did a good deed for the day and someone ate on my expense. I'm just a good guy like that.

I'm just happy Europe is collapsing and we will make sure European economies goes into the scrap heap of history. Europe is a bankrupt continent that's utterly irrelevant.

Try harder kid, give us one of your stale 50 cent jokes. Go on son.

I don't know why people think China wants to be the top Wine making country. Sure we like Wine, I personally like it, but we also have our own alcohol, which I prefer for most times. We are not a wine drinking country if you were to compare our alcohol spending and wine relative to say Spain.

Besides, Wine is European, it has to come from Europe, you wouldn't drink Chinese tea grown in Czech would you.

As to Chinese unload their money, Chinese economy at this point is not proven. Give another 20-30 years of stability and growth, that won't happen anymore. Americans use to save money in England and Europe, does that mean America should suck today?

As you guys like to point out we are an authoritarian and you guys democracy. We can do things on the fly and without opposition, can you guys? Sure we would lose some, but we don't have to care about those guys. You think the French government can ignore French businessmen who give money for their campaigns as easily as we can.

You think French can change the rules as easily as we can?

As to close factories, if they close, they will lose ton of money and China can easily buy it back and immediately rehire these people. But even say we can't do that, you think French businessmen are so patriotic that they would lose millions to billions just to spite China?

And we have screwed with EU, many times, where have you been the past 10 years or so?

Lastly, it's hilarious you think the EU can defend their wine, if China wants to persecute them. We don't have to charge them, just stall them until they say uncle.

The fact you chose something as symbolic as wine and not Airbus deals shows your cards lol. This is just for show.....so the CCP gives the impression they are fighting back.

The fact you chose something as symbolic as wine and not Airbus deals shows your cards lol. And they are not pretty.

Usually people don't bring a gun to a knife fight. If we go shot for shot then we'll just have two drunk dude instead of a solution.

This is just a show of force that we won't take things lying down anymore not to actually destroy the EU. Why would we want to seeing as they are our biggest export market.

lol, the delusion in you is really strong. Did you miss the part where it says you can loose twice more then we can?
The trade balance is clearly in your favor, meaning you have more to loose monetarily. The R&D is in our favour (Airbus plant in China where manufacturing processes are being taught as an example-i could take just about any manufacturing JV), so if you kick us out (which you won't) say goodbye to tech transfers.

As for the "destroy EU". I lol'd. Even your leadership thinks there can be no winner in a real trade war. So for you and your crew to come here preaching about dinosaur continent that needs the mercy blow is...out of sync with reality to put it mildly.
The solar panels tariffs even give you a two month window to fix the situation. And even after the two months there will be only half as high as the subsidizing. Because we are friends. :) US and China fill it up completely to 100% in a single go when they impose tariffs.

Airbus is beneficial to China, but you say it like France is doing us a favor. If it is then why is the French government so proud of the deal. To publicize it to increase support.

Because it's a deal that benefits both parties. No one party more than the other. The airbuses are made to be sold and not looked at. Do you beg for food each time you pay for it at restaurants? Do you feel like you are being done a favor by being brought food?

Destroy EU is just you asking why not stop the Airbus deal. And I merely suggested that it's just something minor and not a huge deal.

Besides I clearly says there are no winner in a trade war.

Do you even speak english? English is not even my first or second language.

This is China targeting the EU countries that supported the solar probe. If we wanted to crush the EU, we would stop automobile and chemical imports. It's a small stick before the big stock approach. EU needs our market since we are a fast growing economy with the 3rd largest consumer market and the largest market for industries EU specialises in such as automobiles, luxury goods, chemicals, machinery.

Chinese domestic consumption is growing very fast which means EU companies need our market to survive. We are sending a message with the wine probe. It's putting the ball in the EU court, you go ahead with more probes against us, we will respond with more probes against EU companies.

We hold all the cards. Europe is economically and financially finished. It's a dinosaur continent. Europe is already struggling, if they want a trade war against us, we will make Europe squirm like dogs and watch that entire continent economically suffer a very painful death.

you should be happy for this as you appear to be an indian migrant to australia. we can delay the airbus orders which will be our next cards

australia can take the opportunities to sell wines to China

yours is not any joke but sheer ignorance!

Ofcourse it's beneficial to both, with the remark Airbus can be sold elsewhere, for you to find tech and manufacturing processes, i doubt it. You'd have people from Tupolev running the factory then. And Airbus is not only French.

Look at the post below you. And while you did not say it directly, the tone of your posts leaves little doubt. "We'll screw you, we are superior, we screwed you many times".

Last time i was just an Indian. I'm moving up in the world! :smokin:

that is typical cheerleading indians' mindset

Our commercial department is saying the conflict is not beneficiial to either party

We may lack some technology, but nothing we couldn't do ourselves given time. But that's not the point. You are just stuck on airbuses can be sold to anyone, which is true. But you would want to sell as many as you can and not just to a select few right? Not that airbuses are affordable by most people to begin with.

Airbus is not oil, even at most it's a few billion dollars, and a few billion is really important to a company in case you don't know. You guys are also not the sole plane maker, so we can also go else where.

As to the tone, the Europeans started this whole thing, what do you want us to do, nothing? Just take this lying down? Even if we are not superior, do you consider us inferior? If we are on equal grounds why are you doing this to us but not Germany? Is our money not as good as German money?

Before you start the whole we export more, well, your markets earn money by selling our products, so to me it's even.

Oh please, you subsidize your companies so they price out competitors and play a victim afterwards. That's not equal grounds to me and nullification of those said practices (subsidizing) is not taking it lying down either. It's just fair play.

Anyhow, i have to go. We can continue tommorrow. :)

we won by technological enhancement in this conflict

again the biggest trade subsidies are from usa to their farmers exports

The AFASE* Prognos study on which the effects were calculated was found to be wrong on the basis of 2011 data when the PV industry was at it's peak. Employment already went down from then. I read this in one of the press releases, i'll try to find the link.

# edit:
Found something similar:

EU Prosun : PwC Anti-Dumping Measures Promote EU Solar Jobs and Growth

*AFASE is a front for Chinese producers and German installers.

Now it's a conspiracy of Chinese producers and German installers. Funny though that you forgot to mention the other 17 EU countries who also conspires with the Chinese producers as well.

The funny thing is, one of the guy behind Prosun is also German who lives in a fat castle and drives a fleet of Porsche. Maybe this fat man should have invested his money into the R&D of his solar panel company to make it more competitive instead of letting himself and his share holders waste their money on an über-luxurious lifestyle and begging the gov. to help him out when the scheiß hits fan. Not only that, his comapny, too, received millions of subsidy from the Germany and US gov. until not too long ago. In fact, no other solar panel company ever received as much subsidy as his company.

Subventionen: Solarworld kassiert ab - Energie - Unternehmen - Wirtschaftswoche

AFASE on the other hand represents a vast array of comapnies ranging from the small installer firms to medium sized companies that produce cutting edge machine tools (huge added value) to giants like BASF (also huge margin).
