China owns great part of the public American debt. The Iraqi war was entirely made to stop China's growth, because if China stops growing, USA will fail.

China needs oil to fuel its economic growth. It is buying the oil from Iraq. It is well within its rights to do so. No one has the right to question its intentions or its motives.

Chinese have long been investing in raw materials, they even made a dedicated investment fund for securing economic raw materials. They have been operating oil fields in Africa for quite a while now. China making headway in GCC shouldn't come as a surprise.

that's one reason, but there are other factors that the west wants to destroy Syria...

and if Chinese companies do drilling in Syria, that will keep a good presence...

You guys honestly believe that West is rum by Illuminati Jews who try to destroy Syria? As if China and Russia are the nice boys in the yard, who only wish good on others. China and Russia are as self interested as "West" is. China kills and jails everyone who protests for free democratic China, Russia jails opposition leaders who it sees threat to current regime etc.

China has no love for Syria, its only resources and thats it, same with the West.
