Their engines are jokes and the "supercruise" of the Typhoon is actually just intermittently turning on the afterburner. They've also completely abandoned indigenous stealth fighter research. Or we can just nuke them and intercept their limited number of missiles with our mid phase missile defense. In terms of economics, their populations are declining and rapidly aging.

In terms of navy, we are behind due to lack of carrier but no one gives a sh*t about the navy in this situation. the leopard 2A6 may be better than the type 99 but that doesn't matter, we have a better air force, more tanks and a better missile force, and that's all that matters.

Lots of people overrate Europe. But let me just get this straight:

Vietnam is a tiny shrimp in East asia yet if placed in Europe would be the 2nd largest European country, after Russia.

South Korea is also a tiny shrimp in East asia yet if placed in Europe would be as big as France.

Japan is geographically small but its population size is equal to that of Russia. Placed in Europe, it would be the largest European nation.

The difference is, Europe's population is aging rapidly, declining in size, and economy is stagnating. The number of research papers published and patents published is shrinking. Their welfare state is creating huge debt to them and keeping lots of useless old people alive. The dependent to worker ratio steadily increases. Within 50 years, the white man will probably drive himself to extinction.

In East Asia everything is scaled up in every way. Even Singapore can put up a realistic fight against Itality with 3x the population.
