As America and Britain talk about war or conflict with China, I say: no country is perfect, but some countries are trying harder than others to take care of their people. A subtle difference between what I experience in China versus what I have experienced in the U.K. and travelling the U.S.A is the positive power of the community spirit. This spirit is driven by the focus on people from each government in question. It has always been a matter of choice - China chooses to invest in their communities. The USA and U.K. invest in wars!!

Leaf Setout Guidelines

• Collect leaves in paper lawn & leaf bags or in unlined rigid containers
• Set out leaves for collection at the curb after 4 pm on the dates indicated above
• Leaves, grass, branches, and yard clippings generated by hired professionals cannot be set out for curbside collection. Professionals must dispose of the materials they generate at a permitted composting facility.

Residents can pick up free paper lawn and leaf bags while supplies last at events in their neighborhood.

This is called 城中村 "city villages", which had almost all been demolished and turned into upscale neighborhoods and public parks by couples of years ago. When New York is going to rennvate its rundown old neighborhoods? New mini Shenzhens are spring up all around old neighborhoods in the Chinese cities.
