Yeah we were butchered so badly, we slaughtered 30,000 Viet soldiers, 100,000 Viet civilians, leveled entire cities, caused billions in property damage, occupied more land than we started with, and caused their economy to lag us by 20 years through forcing an increase in military spending. Then for further insult to injury, we took the Spratlys back and occupied them till today.

Agni-3 doesn't even work. The only indian missile that can possibly work is Agni-4 (and Agni-5 in the future) and that won't be in service for at least 3 years. Agni-4 has a range of 1,500 km to 2,000 km. In any case, you don't even have a thermonuclear warhead, so China can absorb a few kilotons of damage anyway. Of course, our ballistic missile interceptor was already tested in 2010 so we probably won't even need to.
