May be you should take that as a lesson for China. Why/how is it that pointing out similar negative attributes in other countries make what is happening in China more palatable to Chinese?

The Viets as a group are extremely racist and view their country as superior over their neighbors. Thats why the Vietnamese claimed their King was an "Emperor" and all their neighboring states were "tributaries".
