What do the Chinese still expect from us on Tibetan issue?Handover Dalai Lama?

Instead of poking us on Tibet,why don't the Chinese solve the Tibet issue by giving Tibetans some level of autonomy,like Hong Kong has?

@^^^ Hong Kong is well developed, in many ways, If Chinese dont give them autonomy then Hong Kong will never accept Chinese.
What do Tibet have in these ways like technological & economical, development...? so, Chinese will never give up on Tibet
