China to upgrade radar of Pakistan’s JF-17 fighter aircraft

You have started to sound more like Mastan sb. I remember somewhere you telling him that he keeps repeating the same old and while you use to look up to him, something changed. Anyway why the sudden change?

Hi,

I am also waiting for the answer----.

Sir Anti Money Laundering and Due Diligence laws were particularly introduced to target BCCI, other banks were also involved in things which u have discussed briefly but never penalized. The acceptance of gifts/monetary benefits are acceptable up to some limits in USA, now if Trump changes law at once that it is crime and hangs only few politicians on basis of corruption, is it right. Every thing is not black and white in the world. The BCCI as per news was used to transfer payments for Pak Atomic Program it was also one of causes of it's destruction closure by Western powers. Sorry for derailing thread and say no more in this matter.
I have talked to at least 2 people in the highest management cadre of BCCI. The small bank that was strategically bought was on Capital hill. It had the accounts of all the Congressmen. It was bought via a back route where BCCI was not actually the owner and was operating the Bank via proxy companies. This kindof information is powerful and in outside hands could ruin a lot of " Pardah Nasheen of the US Congress". This was the main reason for shutting it down. The Ist national Bank was in the same boat so it could have been saved on grounds of inappropriate action while excluding others. However having been denied licence to buy Banks in the US before and the fact that they had done the dirty deed of setting up a proxy company to operate a bank in the US could not be defended.
Sh. Zaid was initially willing to put up the 600 million dollars to bail out the Bank as it was peanuts for him but the US pressure caused him to back out and dump the bank.

Nothing did, and that is the problem.

ahhhh the arabs
The problem of being a dictator in a very small and essentially defenceless country. No one could have taken on the US Government aparatus. The last one that tried was murdered and so came the end of the Arab resistance.

Being married to one I can concur. But sanity will prevail.
Pak has also not played fair and our reputation is tarnished because of our ow doings as well.

Agha Hassan Abdi was founder of leading bank of the world, BCCI. He was trend setter, the traveller cheques were introduced by BCCI and spread plastic money internationally. Yet his bank BCCI was destroyed ultimately by US/western powers and later on resulted in his tragic end of career/life. Even laws regarding Anti Money Laundering were introduced in first place to target BCCI. Same game perhaps is being repeated now as HBL facing swear challenges after heavy penalties by US regulatory authorities levied on HBL, even KASB was shut down on pressure of foreign powers. Now rumors are HBL will face more penalty and UBL also under scrutiny.
I wonder whether every thing is correct about Mr Abdi how fairly he treated his employees and even provided them allowances with encouragement to use the extra money for social welfare.
Pakistan really needs such people and in abundance to face future challenges whether PAF or any civil organisation.

BCCI was doing fine until they tried to enter in US and that where their problems started. In Middle East banking sector, you will see a lot of former employees of Mr Abdi who still have high regards of him. I myself from Banking sector has met many people across the banking industry who speak highly of him and admire him. That guy was a gem and truly a humble servant of his nation.

There are 2 or 3 reasons. The Indians are a lot more submissive whereas Paks complain a lot and are not afraid to steal if necessary. Secondly there have been a lot of shady dealings between Pakistanis and Arabs where they have lost money so we have a rep of being thieves. Lastly our erstwhile neighbours have done their utmost to malign us as well even to the extent of selling third rate stuff with Pak stamps and all. So much more here than meets the eye. Anyways last post on the topic as it derails the thread.

I think there have been quite a few industries where the arabs poured money and subsequently the factories were badly managed and went down the drain.
Locally the Paks were involved in drug racketing and especially in Saudi land a lot of them got hung/shortened for their crimes. The usual killing is also something we are good at and people often get done for that. Lastly the thousand of illegal refugees waiting on the streets for jobs does not help our reputation. We have made a hash of exports as well showing them one thing and sending another.

Hi,

I don't mean to sound disrespectful---but if you are at that level of ignorance about the issue---then I believe that it will be of no significance to make explanations to you---.

I hope you understand that part---. I mean to say---if you are asking a question of a PhD level---but your education is that of a 10th grade level---where does one begin.
