calm down and thanks for stating the obvious. i'm just calling a spade a spade, it's an assimilation policy, which is a demerit and not a merit for a country. if Uyghurs were truly accepted as Chinese, there wouldnt be a need to assimilate them with such policies, no? deep down you probably know this move is wrong too, but you dont mind as long as it is not the people you really care about which are targeted by such policies.

sure there is a problem if it is the govt that supports such marriages. does the Chinese govt also support marriage between Cantonese and other ethnics? or only Han and Uyghur? nothing wrong with Uyghur marrying with Han, but if the govt openly stimulates such marriages, well, it seems fishy.
