Koreans and Japanese are a different race from Han Chinese and see the Han enroachment in all the surrounding islands like Taiwan and Singapore, makes them feel insecure. Mongolians also have a similar fear of the growing Han population.

It is calculated that Japanese PM has average 1+ year on their post before new one comes in, because people are unhappy with the politics. So let them keep churning until they change or they destroy themselves.

Like detaining Chinese coast guard ships that cross the 10 nm territorial water line and prosecuting them for the violation of Japan's immigration laws.

What does chinese now want? They want to roam in other country's territory without being detained/questioned. They must be out of their minds..

In Japan's case, I think Democracy functions too well, and the nation as a whole is becoming dysfunctional........
Taiwan is a bit dysfunctional at the congress level but not at the president level like Japan is, so do many of the western countries.....

I think none of the political system ideology will be beneficial if pursued to the extreme form......even economic system shouldn't be pursued to one extreme form (say pure capitalism vs. pure socialism vs. pure fascism)

Since Japan has been replacing their PM almost every year that means there are only incapable Japanese politicians running the country. Judging from China's economy comparing to Japan's decline i can say that our one party rule brings more advantages than the so called democracy. Lets see was our past 2-3 presidents and prime ministers incompetent? If your democratic India can easily replace incompetent leaders how come India isn't as advanced as Japan? Why is there a huge gap between democratic India and the totalitarian regime China? Maybe Indian and Japanese citizens are blind in choosing capable leaders?

My take is if those fishermen ventured to other countries waters,they should be duly punished.and S.Korea is never a problem to China,China leaves it to be taken care of by N.Koreans.
