China will help conduct Pakistan military drills onwards in 2016, an improve the training.

So now China is going to start training the Pakistan Army? It should be the other way around!! The Chinese Army is no match to the PA in skills and experience, especially CI ops.

Even The PLAAF can't hold a candle to the PAF!

The only thing that the Chinese can teach the PA is the Goose March!!

By the way, nothing has been mentioned in the OP falls under 'modernizing'.

Well China thrashed India in 1962 war. So we would like to find out how someone else other than us defeated India too. Purely for research purposes.

The PLA is much better drilled and disciplined than the Pakistan Army, judging from their Parade, frankly ours was not very impressive, in fact certain parts made me laugh at the way the soldiers were standing on the trucks with drones. Nevertheless it was better than whatever the hell India was thinking when they did this: (p.s where is "india's integral part", kashmir on that wooden eh drawing?)

Drill isn't everything, but it shows how disciplined your army is, and how coordinated they are when fighting. China seems to ace this.

Pakistan Army is the best trained and disciplined in the region of South Asia, the middle East, and central Asia. But let's not get too arrogant. As the saying goes, there is always something to learn.

The Chinese Army is one of the best trained armies in the world. I am not a expert on either Pak or Chinese or any other military so my comments should be taken as coming from a layman. However if anybody has observed Chinese army drill it shows Chinese military is well ahead of both Pak or US. As regards combat experiance we should not read too much into that. In early 1990s Iraqi Army probably had most combat experiance in the world after the decade long war but it failed miserably in Gulf war.

I have read about modern Chinese Army and war in three differant situations. Korea, India and Vietnam. In the Korean War the young PLA assault drove the entire US and allied front back like a tidal wave. Only massive US air attacks managed to slow/stop mass PLA infantry assault waves and stabilize the allied front. That showed PLA's potency. Soon after the Indian Army ran down the Himalyas in record time from the invading Chinese - This remarkable ability to slide down the Himalyas was only exposed later. Diarrhea was the secret lubricant that gave the slip to the slide downhill.

Only against the Vietnamese in 1979 did the Chinese run into a stumbling block. However Vietnamese had proven their military prowess in the thrashing of USA only couple of years earlier.

This is what you call a military march. This is what you call a military machine. This is what you call military precision. This is something we could learn from PLA. I want to see this being repeated by Pak Army down Constitution Avenue, Islamabad.

March pasts and parades are hardly measure of effectiveness of an army. Any military can look good on the parade ground. When was the last time anyone saw the Israeli or that matter US military in a mass parade

Going by your logic of "military parades are a reflection of how coordinated they are when fighting", the USSR should never have lost in Afghanistan.

That's applying dumb logic. It's not a absolute. There are exceptions. There is a strong corellation not absolute corellation in drill.

It suggests a highly trained force. It suggests discipline. It suggests precision. It suggests organization. All aspects important in war.
