The construction of the Type 076 has already started, and it is also available for export.

And it is basically a scaled down Fujian from 100,000 tonnes class to 60,000 tonnes class.

I guess the first potential customer might be Brasil.

If the customer has requirement, China can also add two mini nuclear reactors for the Type 076 as its main propulsion, whereas the IEP (gas turbines + diesel generators) to power the EMALS & AAG.

Much better than the French Pang which will come no earlier than the next decade.

If the Type 076 Is conventionally powered, which accounting to the CGI it appears to be, and is being produced at a relatively high enough rate of one every 2-3 years, once the need for approx 6 are met in 12-18 years, it’s possible it will be offered for export in the late 2030s. The shipyard wouldn’t mind making some more money building another few ships.

Also by which time the Type 093B with a dozen VLS tubes will be old technology (when the Type 095 with rim drive propulsion and other advances will be the mainstay of the PLAN SSN Fleet), and could be leased to Pakistan.

A lot of this will be available, it’s just up to Pakistan to get its economy right to be able to afford it if it decides it needs this equipment.

We need to redirect the subsidies to social spending so people feel they are getting something for their money, and then people can be asked to pay more in taxes.

These days, ship fires at OPFO 1000km away. How you know you are targetting Ford or you are targetting big cruise ship. You cannot see them with ship radar with this distance.

What makes 052D effective is China massive number of survellance drone, SAR radar, image radar, balloons that accurately send OPFO to command center.

That's the sole purpose, you can play with those fancy toys when you are strategically bundled altogether with China.

The Type 076 can launch manned aircraft as well as the EMALS of the Type 003 can launch the aircraft up to 50 tonnes.

Although the EMALS of the Type 076 can only launch 30 tonnes aircraft, but it is sufficient to launch the J-35.
