China : 26,000 killed, 37,000 wounded and 420 tanks destroyed[4]
Vietnam : 30,000 killed, 32,000 wounded and 185 tanks destroyed[6]
The Sino-Vietnamese war was a disaster for China, because they lost 26K troops in a month and having achieved nothing.
