China surveillance vessel stops Vietnam ship in S. China Sea
On one of the Chinese maritime surveillance vessels' regular patrols, they successfully turned around a Vietnam ship which had sailed into China's jurisdiction on the South China Sea.

On the second day of its patrols in the South China Sea, the Chinese surveillance vessels detected a foreign ship. It was coming towards them at high speed. The patrol forces say the foreign ship infringed China's sovereignty on the South China Sea. They immediately initiated the emergency response plan. The first step: requesting the ship to identify it.

Huang Yong, team leader, China Maritime Surveillance Patrol, said, "This is Chinese maritime surveillance vessel 83. According to UN Convention on the Law of the Sea and laws of China, this area is under China's jurisdiction. We are executing our duties. Please leave the area."

The surveillance vessels changed formation. The command vessel headed toward the Vietnam ship, flanked by three others. After around ten minutes, the Vietnam ship slowed down its speed and finally retreated.

Chinese reports on Spratly incident not true
VietNamNet Bridge – The Vietnam News Agency affirms that Chinese media reports on four Chinese marine surveillance ships “blocking” and “chasing” Vietnamese Marine Police ships in the Truong Sa (Spratly) Archipelago, are totally untrue.

Upon discovering the Chinese ships trespassing on Vietnamese waters, Vietnam ’s relevant authorities engaged in actions to protect the country’s sovereignty, requesting those ships to move out of the Truong Sa area.

Vietnam has sufficient historical and legal evidence to prove its sovereignty over the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa Archipelagos.

The so-called “patrol” by the Chinese ships in the Truong Sa area seriously violated the national sovereignty of Vietnam , and was not in line with the spirit of the Declaration on the Conduct of the Parties in the East Sea (DOC). It also made the situation in the East Sea more complicated while negatively affecting regional security and stability.

We strongly protest and request that China stop these wrongful acts immediately. China should comply with the DOC and not engage in further acts to further complicate the East Sea situation.

Good! We are patrolling just off the coast of Vietnam and calling it our territorial waters :)

What a bunch of weaklings these Vietnamese are. We should follow up with agent orange spraying to let them know how weak they are.

lVietnamese denial at its best.

Vietnamese regime cried about Chinese surveillance vessels patrols "violating" their ridiculous claims on Chinese Sea and waters.

They made a foolish error with that.

They openly admitted Vietnam neither tried nor of course succeeded to chase the Chinese vessels away from "their" waters.
Vietnam didn't dare to make any move on Chinese so called "intruding" vessels at all. Not their clown navy nor their chicken air force. All that talk about taking on China is just hot air.
Like dogs who come close sniffing hoping for some leftovers to steal but when you move they run away.

if anything this is false news from China. any country that can be trusted to lie is China.

when It comes to denial,India and Vietnam are sisters.they always claim how great their countries are,but the truth is they are among the poorest and weakest in this world.
