China surpass Mexico as the Top Source for New U.S. Immigrants

America is a deeply violent society that treats East Asians like sh!t

Capitalists are wealthy while the middle class all moved into working class in the past 28 years information age.

I supposed you said that because of direct experience after spending many years in USA right? Otherwise, how would you know? Or do you just talk speculative nonsense?

@FairAndUnbiased , whats your view, buddy?

Man, chinese in china could only wish that their government would treat them as well as the US government treats chinese living in USA.

Ethnic overseas Chinese need to get involved in politics and journalism to help change the negative perceptions of Chinese and east Asians
Negative perceptions come from civilizational conflict. There is a higher chance of America adopting cherokee shamanism than America accepting East Asians.

First words of sanity that I've heard about china in a long time.

Come on man, China is still a developing country(though some here think its a rich developed super power already.lol)/QUOTE]

Most people who come here don't leave...so we must be doing something correct.

Could be opportunity, clean air, clean water, green everywhere, good pay, have your own piece of property with your home in the middle (your home is your castle mentality) with as many amenities as you wish, not as much crime as what is portrayed in the media, and rather laid back.

You come home, put your feet up, and relax.

It's been this way for a long time. I have had a car since I was 17 (I had 3 at one point), my wife has a car, my father and mother have cars and a house, their parents had cars and houses too.

Still, immigrants from third world countries don't usually leave, they stay and eventually take US citizenship.

1. Those Chinese immigrants got their money from China before become the American, not in U.S.

2. China citizenship is much more difficult to get than American citizenship.

3. If have a house & a car can be called "U.S Dream", today Chinese family also can have such "China Dream" ... yes we have houses and private car.

4. 1.3billion Chinese is too crowded here, some go overseas like U.S can leave more space for us.

China and U.S have nearly the same land size, but Chinese is almost Six times more than American ... if oversea immigrants can solve such promblem, we should support it. Less population & More welfare !

Oh I totally agree that USA is still better than some third world countries,no argument there.

the one i don‘t agree with is some clueless WASP like Peter C painted the whole :usflag: all vanilla, and tricked so many chinese into believing that

yes,the only one thing China can’t compete is the size of the house LOL,and a lot of these chinese businessmen actually stay in China even after they got US citizenship, they are mainly after the visa-free passport

I was also an immigrant in USA (25 years there). I can see why people from third world countries go there and stay there. Life is often not easy for them if they are poor, unskilled people, 10 people sharing an small house, low minimum wage jobs, etc. But still, they stay usually.

For people coming from developed countries its a very different story, some stay, some don't. There is no serious compelling reason to stay. The most often given reason is that its easier for business, which is true, that was also my case, but in the end I left. I know other Europeans that ended up going back to Europe, but some also stay.

That's very light and partial. I can also tell you that many companies actually prefer Asians, including Chinese. And a lot of the media is also very much into reinforcing civil rights and anti discrimination policies. Tell me of one country where there is not even a small degree of job discrimination and media stereotyping.

If you are equating a "black neighborhood" with living in a "poor area" (and there are white poor areas too) then yes not everybody here is living a life of ease. If you do well in school you will be fine...if you don't you will have an uphill battle.

Not necessarily true. My wife didn't have any money when she came here. She did have a PhD.

Tell that to my Chinese wife (No, that's not her in my avatar). She has no intention of ever going back. Hmmm...WASP...I'm only half Saxon (at the most)...definitely not Protestant.

LOL it is only inconsequential when you are not on the receiving end.

Chinese would not be discriminated against in China. That is why I said emigration is always a net loss for Chinese emigrants.

My issue was not with that. You said: "America is a deeply violent society that treats East Asians like sh!t".
