China conducted a test on ground-based mid-course missile interception technology within its territory on Monday, the Chinese Ministry of National Defense said on Tuesday, adding that the result met the anticipated target.

The test is defensive in nature and is not targeted at any country, the ministry added.

The Pentagon confirmed on Friday that a key missile defense test off Kauai failed early Wednesday.

The outcome of such flight intercept tests -- whether a success or failure -- is usually reported by the agency that conducts them, the U.S. Missile Defense Agency.

But that wasn't the case after the $30 million SM-3 Block IIA missile did not intercept an intermediate-range ballistic missile target in its first-ever launch from Kauai's Aegis Ashore facility.

China should make Pakistan military stronger like how the US makes Israel military so powerful. It would keep the US out of the middle east and contain India.

Exactly, with this interceptor, Agni is practically useless. India does not have the same interceptor technology, I think they only demonstrated low altitude interception.
