I know almost all of the tallest skyscrapers in China involved Western architectural/engineering firms...
LoL, How many skyscrapers in China do you know, China has the world most skyscrapers. of course you can claim that everything China built was a copy,

KPF’s 118-story tower accommodates offices, a 360 degree observation deck, and one of the world’s highest hotels, The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong. The tower is the centerpiece of the Union Square reclamation project, establishing a new urban center with office, retail, hotel and recreation spaces, as well as a new transportation hub, Kowloon Station, which connects to Central, Hong Kong, the International Airport and mainland China via a network of high speed rail, subway, buses, and ferry terminals.
#8
Wuhan Greenland Center
Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill:

Wuhan Greenland Center features a uniquely streamlined form that combines three key shaping concepts—a tapered body, softly rounded corners and a domed top—to reduce wind resistance and vortex action that builds up around supertall towers. The building’s extremely efficient aerodynamic performance will allow it to minimize the amount of structural material (and the associated embodied carbon) needed for construction.
#9
International Land-Sea Center
Kohn Pedersen Fox:
As the centerpiece of the 3.6 million-square-meter Chongqing Tian Di Master Plan, a major redevelopment of a downtown core area, Chongqing 100 provides office, residential, retail, and entertainment space to bring energy, activity, and value to the site.

Inspired by the sailing ships that once crowded the waters of the surrounding Yangtze and Jialing Rivers, the development’s light and elegant form is anchored by a simple tower alongside low-rise residential and office towers and a retail podium.
That's the
top 9 out of the top 10 tallest buildings in China were designed by American companies.
I'm now beginning to wonder who is the real designers of your biggest ships.
Your rail system has 80,000 kilometers of 1,435mm rail gauge only because Roman chariots had that as a standard width. You (and much of the world including the US) are following some standard of measurement that is basically meaningless in modern times.
Time to think out of the box and do something new instead of following some "standard of measurement" when it comes to cruiseships/buildings.
