The US love to create hype, meanwhile China do it quietly, so the end results is, the US show lots of PPTs of "new tech", and 20yrs later, after China developed and deployed these "new tech", they are still on the PPTs in the US.

Indian Air Force has been using AESA since 2009, infact China ordered the same AESA radar from Israel but deal was scrapped by Israel later on.

Indian one order from Israel is not the same from China. KJ-2000 is a joint effort and technology from China and Israel. They are many parts which Israel can't make themselves. I repeat the 3D phased AESA array 360 degrees is initial by the Chinese first. The one Indian has is different from KJ-2000. Even our destroyer AESA is different from AESA of india destroyer exported by Israel. Of cos, AESA is superior, it allowed continuous scanning and high speed feedback which allow u to pick your decision faster and strike your enemy who dont have before they react.

Besides, this, during Zhuhai airshow, China radar suppliers also show off products like quantum radar, ultra high freqency radar, 4th gen anti-stealth radar that can guide other guide missiles's radar, as well as world first air-cooled AESA that update to any 2nd to 3rd gen old fighters without much modifications.

Its safe to say, China's military radar is likely leave the US in the dust.

Antti Stealth Radar is flying already in many Air Forces equipped with Gripen C/MS20 or EriEye ER. The radar removes the filter which removes the small objects, and instead tracks thousands of echoes using advanced signal processing.
Having Radars which work together for better detection has been standard issue on Gripen since induction.
The GaN based EriEye ER radar is the one to measure up to today.

This is how I have understood it:
They are using massively parallell H/W to analyse signals.
Maybe not removing this filter altogether, but definitely lowering the threshold,
Then they compare ”sweeps” with previous sweeps to find out what differs,
and this is fed into next layer which filters away ”one-off” and stationary stuff.
The remainder is things that are moving.
Future ”sweeps” can focus on stuff that is marked suspicious.
They can also react on echos coming from signals emitted by another Gripen.
SAAB claim that they improve detection range by 150% on stealth targets compared
to the previous backend processor.

The following is personal experience from friends and family members from all of the 3 branches of the armed forces of Pakistan so you can feel free to disregard it if you wish. But they have trained and done joint exercises with the some of the best american and european weapon platforms Saudi Arabia and UAE have to offer INCLUDING exercises like Red Flag in the united states AND they have trained with the best that China has to offer. Their experience has been that the Chinese weapon platforms are right up there with the best, most cutting edge weapon platforms europe and the u.s. have to offer (at least for exports). For example, I know the air force trained with and flown in KSA's eurofighter and f15s as well as UAE's rafaels. The J10s and the J16s proved to be just as advanced and challenging to take on.

Thanks for your honest comment. I believe it is during this 2018 period. PAF order the J-10CE as they witness it's competitive system. Now forward to 2022, the J-10C will reach Pakistan soil too.
