Title is misleading. Trump is proposing 10% tarriff on ALL trades. Not just the trade with China. This is because US large deficit with a lot of countries, such as China, Germany and Japan, etc.

I did not say that Trump has made a open declaration against China. However in life there can only be one top dog. That is how nature is. A company has one head honcho. A gang will have one boss. A country has one leader. Number one and number two can never stand on equal pedestal.

USA is increasingly moving to configure itself to face off China. Unless China is going to be the first economic superpower that will happily give US global military hegemony which I doubt, I expect increasing rivalry that will surface more and more.

I don't think China is or will be shocked at all.....they are too smart, educated, disciplined and united than US can ever think.

It is one thing to write books, it is completely different to run the show.

I can write many books on how to drive the car but I cannot win F-1.

When this CHAMP will sit in the driving seat he will know what it really means to do business at international level.

US has a debt that is topping 18-trillion dollars - this is equal to the GDP of about a third of the world. It will also spiral out. It is China that has all the bargaining chips and they know how to play the game.
