China sends its second aircraft carrier (the first domestically-made one) to the South China Sea

.
Russia is white, still our most important strategic partner.

Japan and South Korea are yellow, but still belong to the camp of our adversary.

Vietnam should choose the rightful path, and being too close to the US won't make Russia happy either.
Yes Russia is your partner, not ally! Big difference!
Your relationship to Russia is relationship on time, a marriage of concierge. That will end.

JP and KR have the US as ally because they see the US as trustworthy. Chinese not. You are not trustworthy.

Mark my word: when the first shot is fired by the Pla, Vietnam will sign a military alliance with the US.

Such ungrateful bstrds.
What do you expect?
We should surrender our lands because you provided some made-in-China guns?

You forget chinese aggression in the 1979 and in the years followed.

How about you pay us back for the deaths and destruction?

FYI, Michael Griffin is the Pentagon's top engineer.

Cue for the "he just wants more budget" phrase, because they cant go for the default "the Chinese government paid him to say that" phrase

More from Michael Griffin (Pentagon top engineer :agree:):

Griffin pointed to Chinese systems that have been fielded or can be soon fielded that can launch a strike and reach out “thousands of kilometers” from the Chinese shore and “hold our carrier battle groups or forward deployed forces on land” at risk.

“We, today, do not have systems which can hold them at risk in a corresponding manner, and we don’t have defenses against those systems,” Griffin told the House Armed Services Committee members on April 18.

“Let’s just propose a thought experiment,” Griffin said. “Which do you think the Chinese leadership would fear more: 2,000 conventional strike missiles possessed by the United States and its allies in the western Pacific capable of ranging Chinese targets, or one new carrier? Because those two things cost about the same amount of money. Those are the kinds of questions we need to be asking ourselves.”

I think it’s clear that in the realm of hypersonics we are playing catch up, especially relative to the Chinese. We need to be able to not only match but to overmatch, especially the Chinese,” Griffin said.

When Russia remains neutral is fine for us, since we can take care of the US by ourselves.

Japan and South Korea are just flip-floppers, when they see China is becoming significantly stronger than the US, they will 100% become two turncoats. The US in its deep heart also doesn't trust these two yellow nations.

You live in a fantasy world. A wish me world that doesn’t exist in reality. A military alliance bases on common security interests not on common skin color. Japan and Korea are prosperous and strong thanks to large US market and security umbrella. What can you offer? 9 dash line? You are too delusional!
